The Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (SSX), Indian chapter, has conducted its inaugural conference in Bangalore, September 1-3, 2016. The program featured renowned speakers in drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and toxicology, poster sessions, panel discussions, mentoring sessions for students and young scientists, a vendor exhibition and numerous networking opportunities. Got very good participation, with representation from academia, industry, CROs, government research institutes and vendors. A pre-conference one day workshop was also conducted by Simcyp on August 31st 2016 at the Faculty of Pharmacy, M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
